Via Google Maps
The first of the useful resources to know where a person is on the phone I want to suggest you use is Google Maps . No, there is no mistake. The famous application of big G for road navigation and map display also incorporates a convenient option that allows you to locate and locate your friends. Just enable location sharing and it’s done. Let’s see in more detail how.
First of all, both you and the person you want to locate must download and install Google Maps on your mobile phone. The application is free and is available forboth Android and iOS . To get it, just connect to the relevant section of the app store from your smartphone and tap the button to perform the installation.
Then start the app and sign in with your Google account (if you do not already have one, you can create it immediately by following my tutorial on how to create Google account ). The same person must also do the same. The latter will then have to tap the button with the three horizontal lines that is in the upper left part of the application screen and will have to select the Share position from the bar that appears on the side.
Always the high person, he will have to press the Start button and choose, based on his needs, whether to share his position for 1 hour or another time interval (it can be set using the [+] and [- ] next to each other) or until deactivated (therefore forever, in theory). To conclude, you will have to enable the localization services (if required), tap on the Contacts heading at the bottom of the screen and select your contact from the list that appears and then press on Share on the right.
Once you have done all the steps above, you will know where the person in question is by going to the Sharing section of the Google Maps app after tapping the button with the three horizontal lines on the top left, enabling location services and then tap on his avatar at the top of the screen that will be shown.
